In this new series, vet Mark Evans uses technology to tackle three deadly predators: the Nile crocodile, the polar bear and the great white shark. When these animals attack humans both sides lose out. As more people are killed or maimed, more animals are killed in retaliation. Mark wants to find ways to break this circle of violence. He tries out ingenious solutions to the most hostile wildlife conflicts on Earth. Mark travels to Namibia's Chobe River, which is known as the crocodile attack capital of the world, and finds himself in serious danger when a ferocious attack leaves him badly wounded. Crocodiles here are growing in size and number, and so is the frequency of attacks. Each time it happens, the locals kill crocodiles in retaliation. To find a way to keep both people and crocodiles safe, Mark carries out a radical new experiment with leading crocodile experts Rom Whitaker and Dr Patrick Aust. The idea is to train crocodiles to associate the sound of a bell with an electric shock. Mark meets attack victims, puts the crocodile training experiment to the test and is himself injured when a crocodile turns on him.

About This Guide
This episode guide brings together the episode runtime, synopsis, series context, and nearby episode navigation for Operation Maneater. That gives readers and search engines a clearer relationship between the episode and the parent series instead of treating the page as an isolated record.
Editorial Take
Crocodile is presented as an episode-level guide that still keeps the parent series context visible, which is important because isolated episode pages can otherwise feel detached and thin. This episode sits at position 3 out of 3, so the page can answer both the runtime question and the progress question at the same time. The 56m runtime is especially useful here because episode search intent is often much more time-sensitive than general series search intent.
How OnlySynopsis Builds This Page
