Synopsis
Q: The Winged Serpent and It's Alive! director Larry Cohen returns to the horror genre with this installment of Showtime's Masters of Horror series concerning the collision of two bone-chilling urban myths. Tough-minded Stacia (Fairuza Balk) is caught in a deadly game of cat and mouse between deceptively friendly trucker Wheeler (Michael Moriarty), who spices up long stretches of road by ruthlessly slaughtering hitchhikers, and charming hitchhiker Walker (Warren Kole), who has a murderous habit of dispatching with anyone who stops to give him a lift. Though all hope may not yet be lost for the street-smart girl with a killer sense of survival instinct, the most terrifying twist of all may still be yet to come.
