Synopsis
Noel Fitzpatrick runs one of the most advanced veterinary practices in Britain and is known as the Bionic Vet. Some of the hardest-to-cure pets from across the country receive cutting-edge treatments and surgery from Noel and a team of over a hundred surgeons, nurses, ward attendants and physiotherapists. This new four-part series follows Noel and his team as they use their pioneering techniques to attempt to cure pets that might otherwise be beyond saving. In the first episode, David and Gill and their son Freddie are hoping Noel can help their Labrador, Scooby, who has a life-threatening tumour in his leg. Noel goes to extraordinary lengths to save the life of Tiger the cat when his heart stops beating during recovery from an operation. When an emergency case of a lurcher called Otis with shotgun wounds comes in, Noel must extract the bullet before working out how to save the leg. And Noel has to come up with a way of helping a French bulldog with a fractured elbow to walk again - does a pair of tights hold the answer?.
