Synopsis
April races against time to prevent a mass assassination at a high-stakes poker game attended by several of the world's wealthiest men. She receives a valuable clue as to the game's whereabouts from striptease artist Ida Martz (Barbara Nichols. Meanwhile, Sir Cecil Seabrook (Victor Buono) and Miss Twickum (Lynn Bari), the sinister owners of a school for bodyguards, also take an inordinate interest in the booby-trapped card game. Alan Caillou, who wrote several of the best Man From UNCLE episodes, appears in the role of Sergeant Grimes, while comedian Jerry Lester makes a "special guest victim" appearance as mobster Big Julie. Written by Jackson Gillis, "The Phi Beta Killer Affair" first aired on March 14, 1967.
