Synopsis
Austin ventures into the depths of the Amazon rainforest to find the only mammal that feeds entirely on blood - the vampire bat. Paddling the river to search the forest, Austin finds lots of bats, some tiny monkeys and a secretive tapir… but no vampires. Deciding to change tactic, he heads to cattle country where he takes to horseback to find vampire bats drinking blood on the necks of cows. But to get the photos of vampire bats roosting, Austin is forced to face one of his greatest fears: claustrophobia. In one of his toughest challenges yet, Austin has to go through tiny tunnels, deep into the pitch black cave system to where the vampire bats roost, and move close enough to get his photographs.
