Synopsis
When a huge meteorite threatens to destroy the world, Superman (George Reeves) flies into space in order to knock the gigantic rock off its course. Unfortunately, the force of the blow causes Superman to lose his memory, as both "himself" and his alter ego Clark Kent. As the amnesiac Man of Steel desperately tries to reassemble the pieces of his shattered memory, the meteorite continues to hover over Metropolis, drawing ever closer to destroying everything and everybody! Although the special effects aren't all that convincing--at least to contemporary eyes--"Panic in the Sky" was The Adventures of Superman's most expensive episode.
