Synopsis
Opening with the astronauts attending 'geology boot camp', this episode illuminates the growing conflicts among the brilliant, opinionated and often abrasive world-class geologists whose role in mission control and astronaut training becomes central. Meanwhile, a core of pure scientists who have been admitted to the astronaut ranks vie for status amidst the test pilots who have previously done all the space travel.
