Synopsis
Work is thin on the ground so Pete gets a job in a chicken packing factory. But things begin to look up when his article criticising Britan's seventh best tennis player, Lottie Beaumont, is accepted by a national newspaper. If only Pete wasn't dating Lottie, everything would be fine!, Pete Griffiths is a struggling young sports journalist. Although well meaning, Pete lacks the emotional maturity to deal with grown-up relationships. He wishes life had clearly defined rules, like sport.
