Synopsis
Danny Boyle's pilot episode tasered both brains and funny bones back in February, and now Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong's deliciously caustic and multi-layered drama about PR and London's police force is back for a six-part series. Robbie's first day in the Armed Response Unit turns into a baptism of fire as Tony and Banjo decide to see what he's made of. Commissioner Miller decides to give Liz and her new ideas his full backing, leaving Finn worrying about his future. But an unexpected invite from the Deputy Mayor Grant Delgado leaves her with serious questions about her boss. Meanwhile Davina and Clarkey consider taking their relationship to the next level, which would mean coming clean with their partners. But a bomb threat at the Thameside Exhibition Centre throws all the teams together and leads to an unexpected tragedy.
