Synopsis
Danny Boyle's pilot episode tasered both brains and funny bones back in February, and now Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong's deliciously caustic and multi-layered drama about PR and London's police force is back for a six-part series. Eager to justify Commissioner Miller's faith in her, Liz presents her vision for Metwork: the force's very own digital news channel that will rival established outlets and tell it like it is, for better or worse. It could be a game-changer but to Finn Metwork is a vanity project and he is determined to kill it. His opportunity comes on the eve of the Mayor's Conference on Policing. Warwick's psychological state reaches crisis point after the high-risk pursuit of a gang of armed robbers, and firearms trainee Robbie realises he must sharpen up if he is to make the cut…, Liz proposes a digital news channel for the force that Finn tries to nix. In other events, Warwick's mental state spirals out of control after a high-risk pursuit; and Robbie realises he needs to get better in order to make the cut.
