Synopsis
It's all about the hustle, rather than the bustle, of the Big Apple as How To Make It In America follows two down- on-their-luck twentysomethings as they try to catch a break. Ben Epstein, a struggling designer wasting his talents working at Barneys department store, and cocky best friend Cam Calderon aren't happy with their lots. Teaming up, they decide to use their street savvy and connections to make names for themselves in fashion. Their dreams of fame and fortune, however, are regularly interrupted by that niggling little thing called reality and their increasingly complicated personal lives, most notably relationships with Ben's ex Rachel (Lake Bell, Boston Legal) and Cam's former convict cousin.
