Synopsis
Hoping to learn to fly, Mr. Chigger elicits the aid of a cardinal, a secretary, and Mr. Anemone. Two years later, Mr. Chigger is reprimanded for the errors made in the previous sketch. Lassie O'Shea reads from the works of Scottish poet Ewan McTeagle, of "Will You Lend Us a Quid?" and "Can I Have Fifty Pounds to Mend the Shed?" fame. Mrs. Ratbag consults a psychiatrist-milkman, whose colleague analyzes a cow. Mr. Boniface discusses "The strange phenomenon of deja vu". . .over and over and over again. And somewhere in the distance, a cat explodes. Featuring Carol Cleveland and Jeannette Wild, "Show 5" was originally telecast September 29, 1970.
