Synopsis
In Norway, workmen are filmed fashioning a replica of the Gokstad ship, typical of the ships whose shallow draught enabled the Vikings to attack London and Paris by river. Also: cameras visit the Oseberg Mount, where a funeral ship was excavated, revealing a skeleton believed to be that of Queen Asa of Oseberg, mother of King Harald Fine-Hair. Magnus Magnusson is the series host.
