Pa-arty!

Funny and entertaining, but also possessing an honesty and realism missing from most television shows about teenagers, Degrassi Junior High has won a devoted following for its compelling portrait of the lives of young people, and this video features two episodes from the series. In "Pa-arty!," Alexa (Irene Courakos) has planned to throw a big party, but her parents have other ideas, so Lucy (Anais Granofsky) volunteers to host the bash instead. But the party may be over before it begins when several of the kids get in trouble for trying to buy alcohol with fake ID's. And in "Bye-Bye Junior High," Joey (Pat Mastroianni) has invited Caitlin (Stacie Mistysyn) to the dance, but his parents will only allow him to attend under certain conditions. Meanwhile, Spike (Amanda Stepto) and Wheels (Neil Hope) have started looking at their poor grade point averages, and realize they have to do well on their final exams if they have any hope of graduating from Junior High.
