Synopsis
This chronicle of the Black Lives Matter civil-rights movement examines how it grew in the wake of the riots in Ferguson, MO, over the police shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown Jr. The documentary explores the stark contrast between the street protests and the media's coverage of the events, and touches on how new technologies like cell-phone videos and social media have changed public perception of police brutality against black Americans. Directed by Sabaah Folayan and Damon Davis.
