Synopsis
Ned and Jim, two boneheaded cons on the run find refuge in a church, only to be mistaken for priests!, Crime comedy about two dim-witted escaped convicts who masquerade as priests in a small town on the US-Canadian border in the 1930s Depression. After they reluctantly get roped into a break-out, the small-time crooks find themselves among the religious throng converging on a town praising a weeping statue of the Virgin Mary, Comic crime caper about a pair of escaping convicts who pose as priests in order to give their pursuers the slip. The two confirmed atheists find themselves in the midst of a fully fledged miracle and are forced to go against their criminal characters in order to avoid discovery.
