Petr Kocourek se hlásí na katedru grafiky na UMPRUM, kam přijímají jen pár vyvolených. Už jednou ho nevzali a profesor Slanina je nekompromisní. Na školu se hlásí i krásná Julie, do které se Kocourek bezhlavě zamiluje. Michal Kolman studuje VŠE, ale místo přednášek a seminářů ho zajímají jen spolužačky a rychlá auta. Zkoušky a zápočty řeší podvodem nebo úplatkem či pomocí svého vlivného otce. Kocourkova matka se dávno vzdala představy, že její syn bude studovat něco pořádného, zatímco paní Kolmanová svého synka neustále vydržuje a hýčká. Oba kluky spojuje už od gymplu ilegální malování graffiti. Na pražských střechách, nádražích a v podchodech zažívají divoká dobrodružství. Při jedné noční honičce je Kocourek dopaden...
