Synopsis
Balu was an atheist and openly spoke against casteism. When his son Raja comes back to village and falls in love with a girl from brahmin community Vaidehi, her father's disagreement leads to her suicide and later his and Raja's death. Having lost his own son, Balu raises Vaidehi's orphaned brother as his son only to face further hatred and disapproval from brahmin community which leads to his death.
