Synopsis
This film, while despised by critics and lovers of cinema, is cherished by fans of the comedy team, Cheech and Chong. In this wildly irreverent comedy, Man Stoner (Tommy Chong) is thrown out of his rich parent's Hollywood Hill's home and hooks up with Pedro De Pacas (Cheech Marin) the leader of a rock-and-roll band. In a van made entirely of pure marijuana, the two set out on a ride from Los Angeles to Mexico and back. Despite all of this, they still have time to enter and win a "battle-of-the-bands" contest. Up in Smoke, produced and directed by Lou Alder is Cheech and Chong's first and best film.
