Episódio “Com Um Pouquinho de Sorte”: Jorge, motorista de ônibus, e Maria, comerciária, se casam e vão redidir num apartamento popular. Ela, grávida, é despedida do emprego e ele, sofrendo um acidente, tem o mesmo destino. Desempregado, o motorista atrasa as prestações do apartamento. Para fazer um biscate, vira camelô, bicheiro e termina preso. Solto, sabe que sua mulher está dando à luz. Quando ele chega em casa, a Justiça aparece com ordem de despejo. Jorge resiste, enquanto o filho nasce. Sinopse “Vida Nova Por Acaso”: Magrão e Crioulo vivem às custas de pungas de bolsas femininas nas ruas centrais de Porto Alegre, embora nem sempre sejam bem-sucedidos em seus golpes. Magrão sonha aposentar-se algum dia e Crioulo imagina os dias de fausto em que poderá comer mocotó na volta do mercado. Numa festa, eles são reconhecidos como batedores de carteira. A nova vida fica para outra ocasião: retornam à penitenciária.
