Ayu is the coolest eighth grader at her middle school -- she is a star tennis player and she's admired by almost everyone. The truth, however, is that she only joined the tennis club in order to impress Tetsushi, the boy she has a long-standing crush on. He doesn't seem to notice she exists, but then one day, Ayu meets Nina, a transfer student from far away.
