Synopsis
David visits an old rabbinical counselor and finds that prejudices still exist, with the rabbi still embracing the "love the sinner, hate the sin" principle. New Yorker Michelle relays fears that she may be the only Hasidic lesbian in her surroundings, and Devorah, an ultra-Orthodox Israeli woman who has children and is married, is unsteady about her repressed longings for same-sex love. The film explores the inner workings of the religion, but as guided by the Torah, many officials will not acknowledge such action, as it is abhorrent and, in some cases, punishable by death. Shot on video, the film was transferred to standard 35 mm for release.
