Track 29
Synopsis
Theresa Russell, Christopher Lloyd and Gary Oldman all play unconventional (to say the least) roles in this black comedy from British director Nicolas Roeg. Since her locomotive-obsessed husband spends all his spare time with his toy trains, a bored and lonely woman becomes intrigued with a visiting stranger who claims to be the son she had given up for adoption when she was a teen. Could it be him? Could it be an imposter? Could he be a figment of her imagination? Some viewers may get a kick out of a bizarre scene involving nurse Sandra Bernhard, rubber gloves, blissful Lloyd and the sound of a choo-choo.
