Synopsis
Two beautiful women competing for the title of Miss India offer an odd parallel to the women in charge of the Hindu fundamentalist movement, as both perspectives allow women opportunities for success that are rare for many other Hindus of their gender, and both come with their own elements of empowerment and oppression.
