Synopsis
Bleak, futuristic thriller about an experimental effort to relieve a man's behavioural problems by implanting microcomputers in his brain. But the patient develops homicidal impulses after the procedure, and the scientists in charge must face up to the failure of their programme - and decide how to control the murdering maniac they have created, 70s paranoia sci-fi with technology overtaking mankind. Brilliant scientist Harry Benson agrees to be used as a guinea pig, with a chip implanted in his brain to prevent seizures. But he becomes addicted to the treatment, performing increasingly manic crimes to receive the fix that cures him.
