The Omen

In The Omen it is revealed that angelic little Damien (Harvey Stephens) is the Antichrist. Despite overwhelming evidence, Damien's adoptive parents Gregory Peck and Lee Remick aren't totally convinced by priest Patrick Troughton's warnings about the boy, but once the priest dies in a particularly grotesque fashion, Peck is more open to the likelihood of Satanic intervention. After Remick falls victim to Damien's machinations, Peck realizes he must kill the boy in an approved ritualistic method. There were two theatrical sequels to The Omen, and a much-later made-for-TV follow-up. This is the first feature-film effort of TV-director Richard Donner.
