Synopsis
Emile Ardolino's last film (he died of AIDS at the age of 50) is a delightful interpretation of Tchaikovsky's ballet. Jessica Lynn Cohen plays Maria, the little girl escorted through various fantastic realms by the Prince. The rest of the cast come from the New York City Ballet, whose interpretation is spectacular, with the Christmas favourite bursting off the screen.
