The Night Eats the World
Synopsis
Adapted from the novel La Nuit a dévoré le Monde by French writer Pit Agarmen, this film debut from director Dominique Rocher follows the plight of Sam (Anders Danielsen Lie) as he awakes in an apartment building in Paris only to wake to find zombies crawling the streets outside. Blockading himself inside, his only entertainment comes in the form of a nearby trapped zombie (Denis Lavant) and various inane activities he tries to pass the time. The question is, is Sam the only survivor?, A man attending a party in Paris wakes to find the streets overrun by zombies. Blockading himself inside the apartment block, he must not only survive but entertain himself during periods of increased isolation. The question is, are there other survivors?.
