A clairvoyant doctor fights to free the planet Earth from the grip of an evil empire in this sprawling animated epic of Biblical proportions. In the future the United States has fallen, clearing the way for the rise of the Godom Empire. Under the leadership of the ruthless Tathagata Killer, anyone who dares defy the Godom Empire is banished from the planet. As Godom warships surround Japan, the Earth Doctors unite to form Hermes Wings, a hybrid religious organization\political party fronted by a psychic physician named Sho Shishimaru, who is rumored to be the Buddha incarnate. When the Tahtagata Killer captures Sho and crucifies him before the entire world, the miracle that follows inspires the citizens of the planet to side up against their sadistic oppressor.
