The Midas Touch
Synopsis
Billy Bright is a likeable, appealing 12 year old boy, who lives in an apartment with his beloved granny. She is suffering from a serious heart condition, and Billy unselfishly fantasises about becoming vastly wealthy so that he can "buy his grandmother a new heart and restore her to health. When he blunders into the "haunted house of the mysterious Cat Lady, supposedly a witch, he is granted one wish by her - the Midas touch. However, Billy soon learns that it is more a curse than a blessing when everything he touches turns to gold ..
