Synopsis
A publisher researches the life of an aged woman in Venice and finds mystery. Based on Henry James' 'The Aspern Papers.', An American publisher hears of a cache of love letters in Venice written by a missing poet. He travels there under an assumed name and meets the object of the letters, a 105-year-old woman who lives with her mentally unstable niece. Inside the walls of their home, he discovers a mysterious world of memories and fantasies.
