The Last Face
Synopsis
Sean Penn heads back behind the camera to direct this drama about a love affair that blossoms between the director of an international aid organization (Charlize Theron) and a relief-aid doctor (Javier Bardem) amid the horrors of war-torn Liberia. Although they both care deeply saving lives, their love is tested not only by the grim situation they find themselves in, but also by a difference of opinion on how to solve the conflict. Jean Reno and Jared Harris co-star.
