Synopsis
Stephanie Zimbalist (Remington Steele) stars with Tony Bill (Shampoo) in this taut psychological thriller as a detective whose obsession with an unsolved murder case turns her into the killer's next target. Twenty years previously, 'The Ballerina Case' had gripped the headlines. But the killer was never found and the case soon closed. Trained by the FBI and utilising unusual methods to unlock the criminal mind, Detective Isobel Neiman thinks she has the skills to bring the murderer to justice. With the help of a veteran reporter who covered the case all those years ago, Isobel reopens the file and becomes engrossed with reliving the victim's last days. Getting too close, however, she unwittingly re-ignites the killer's rage - and soon Isobel is his next target. Now she must act before he does to reveal the shocking truth behind the murder.
