Synopsis
After Harry Hinkle, a CBS cameraman is injured at a football game, his brother-in-law Willie Gingrich, a crooked lawyer, persuades him into making his injuries a lot worse than they are. At first, Harry wants no part of it. However, when he gets an unexpected telephone call from his ex-wife and learns she might want to get back together, he decides to take Willie's advice. He fakes the injury and ends up in a wheelchair and corset. When Willie decides to sue for top dollar, the laughs keep on coming as he tries to get a settlement from the insurance company.
