Synopsis
This documentary looks at the Oakland Police Department over the course of two years, as an idealistic new police chief attempts to instigate reforms after multiple incidents of officer misconduct and civil-rights abuses. Interviews with cops and citizens, interspersed with cell-phone and dash-cam footage, paint a complex portrait of the OPD and their relationship with the community. Directed by Peter Nicks.
