Synopsis
Lew Lenders' drama stars Harry Davenport as Old John, a hermit fighting against loggers for the life of the forest he lives in and cares for. When a freak storm causes the train that young Jackie and his mother Anne are travelling on to crash, Jackie is swept downstream and presumed dead. Rescued and then raised by Old John, Jackie learns life lessons and the importance of nature before by chance being reunited with his mother. And Old John proves his knowledge extends far beyond forest life as he orchestrates a possible romance for Anne.
