Synopsis
Val Kilmer is Jim Morrison in Oliver Stone's acclaimed portrayal of The Lizard King, his rise to fame and equally swift fall into drugs and booze that ended with his death in Paris. As one would expect from Stone, no punches are pulled - Morrison is no rock god and managed to alienate everyone from the rest of the group but the energy of the re-created concert footage shows the charisma that, when it was right, was brilliant.
