Synopsis
Co-directors Josh Lowell and Peter Mortimer reveal the motivating factors behind Tommy Caldwell and Kevin Jorgeson's 2015 historic ascent of The Dawn Wall, a 3,000 foot-tall rock face in Yosemite National Park. It focuses on Caldwell's experience of being held hostage by rebels in Kyrgyzstan, the dissolution of his marriage, and the ultimate price he paid for athletic success.
