Synopsis
The Boston Strangler chronicles the intense manhunt for the serial killer who terrorized the city between 1962 and 1964. Thirteen women were strangled and sexually assaulted before the criminal was apprehended. Phil Dinatale (George Kennedy is the detective who spearheads the investigation. The state attorney general assigns John S. Bottomly (Henry Fonda) as special representative to help find the killer. The suspect remains elusive until a woman (Sally Kellerman) who was nearly a victim steps forward to accuse model family man Albert DeSalvo (Tony Curtis). Bottomly interrogates the suspect, who was remanded to the custody of a state mental hospital for the rest of his life in this gripping crime drama. John Cameron Swayze make a cameo appearance as a reporter.
