Synopsis
The deadpan travails of a Tibetan shepherd nicknamed "Pigtail" (Shide Nyima) as he and an orphaned lamb journey from the steppes to the city in order to obtain a needed photo ID card. His stop at a barber to get spruced up for his photo brings him into contact with a lissome local hairdresser (Yangshik Tso), whose uninhibited modernity shakes up his provincial worldview.
