Ένας πιλότος της Ολυμπιακής αεροπορίας (Νίκος Γαλανός) ερωτεύεται μια κοπέλα που εργάζεται σε καμπαρέ (Ιρίνα Μάλεβα). Γνωρίζει όμως μια αεροσυνοδό (Ελένη Ερήμου) για την οποία θα νιώσει ερωτική έλξη, συναίσθημα που είναι αμοιβαίο. Η αεροσυνοδός πληροφορείται από τον γιατρό της πως έχει καρκίνο και πως της μένει ελάχιστος χρόνος ζωής. Αποφασίσει να απομακρυνθεί από τον αγαπημένο της, για να μην τον επιβαρύνει, όταν όμως εκείνος μάθει την αλήθεια, θα μείνει κοντά της μέχρι το τέλος.
