Synopsis
Drama. Divorced mother Jackie finds it hard to deal with her ex-husband's new girlfriend Isabel. They have different priorities when it comes to their careers and to Jackie's children, but can they sort out their difficulties before it is too late?, Christopher Columbus' roller-coaster drama, mixing comedy and pathos, stars Susan Sarandon and ED Harris as a married couple with children until he leaves her for Julia Roberts and takes the kids. But they still love Sarandon, and the career-minded Roberts is the most unsuitable of stepmoms. Then Sarandon dies and Roberts must adopt her mantle of being a true mother to the bereaved children.
