Synopsis
Slice of Americana about a rural family's annual trip to the Iowa State Fair, where pop enters his prize hog in a contest, mom shows off her pickles and jams, and both kids just want some fun. A Best Picture nominee. Musical remakes of the film were released in 1945 and 1962.
