Speed 2: Cruise Control

After finding herself stuck on an out-of-control bus in the first movie, Sandra Bullock's feisty heroine Annie returns for a new adventure. Annie thinks her new boyfriend, Alex (Jason Patric), is a policeman and she wants him to stop putting his life in danger. What Alex hasn't told her is that he's actually a SWAT team member, which means he's engaged in some of the most dangerous activities imaginable! When Annie finds out the truth, Alex decides to apologise by taking her on a romantic cruise. But fate conspires to ruin their holiday when disgruntled ex-employee Geiger (Willem Dafoe) decides to forego an industrial tribunal in favour of blowing up the boat owned by the company which fired him! As the now out-of-control cruise ship hurtles towards potential destruction and Annie gets herself into a series of risky scrapes, Alex dangles, dives, swings and leaps his way around the ship, rescuing passengers in distress and desperately searching for a way to prevent his romantic cruise from having an explosive ending.
