Sparks

A vigilante crime-fighter joins a team of real-life superheroes on a mission to stop a notorious serial killer in this comic book origins story based on the independent graphic novel of the same name. The Matanza Killer (William Katt) is a cunning psychopath whose bloody exploits have the entire city in the grip of fear. Meanwhile, after losing his parents in a tragic car crash, young Ian Sparks (Chase Williamson) dons a makeshift superhero costume, and starts using his fists to confront the criminal element. With the help of a mysterious masked heroine named Lady Heavenly (Ashley Bell) Sparks is soon making progress. All the while, the powerful Archer (Clancy Brown) observes Sparks from the shadows. When Archer unites Sparks with an elite unit of super-powered defenders it begins to appear that the Matanza Killer's days are numbered. Later, with the malevolent serial killer finally in his sights, Sparks uncovers a secret to devastating that it threatens to destroy him. Clint Howard and Jake Busey co-star.
