(2010) Eric Balfour, Scottie Thompson and Donald Faison star in Colin and Greg Strause's intense, effects-heavy sci-fi thriller about aliens invading Los Angeles. Jarrod (Balfour) and his pregnant girlfriend Elaine (Thompson) visit their friend Terry (Faison), who, working as a successful visual effects designer in Hollywood, is throwing a pool party at his luxurious penthouse apartment. But, after a night of drunken revelry, the group wakes up to the sight of mysterious blue lights falling from the sky. When one of the lights suddenly takes Terry's assistant Ray, it's clear the group has more to worry about than just being hungover. Realising the city is under attack, the remaining partygoers must quickly figure out how they are going to survive.
