Synopsis
Antonio Climati and Mario Morra followed up their Ultima Grida dalla Savana with this somewhat less disturbing mondo shockumentary. There are singing penguins, a Sri Lankan man who buries his head in the sand like an ostrich, porn actors struggling with erectile dysfunction, and a 131-year-old mystic. On the more alarming side are fakirs cutting off their own tongues and animals killing their prey. It should be noted that one American print of this film, titled Mondo Violence, is assembled in a different order from the original, providing even more jarring juxtapositions of imagery. Giuseppe Rinaldi narrates.
