Recorre la historia de un joven veinteaƱero de Humahuaca, Provincia de Jujuy, Argentina llamado Reinaldo Mamani. Reinaldo integra la banda de sikuris del Barrio Santa BĆ”rbara de Humahuaca. AprendiĆ³ a tocar y a realizar sus propios instrumentos en su pueblo y tuvo la posibilidad de viajar a Capital Federal en un intento por consolidar su formaciĆ³n musical en el IUNA, apadrinado por el maestro charanguista Jaime Torres . El documental plantea el dilema que representa para este joven tener que optar entre una formaciĆ³n acadĆ©mica o continuar en Humahuaca donde el florecimiento musical va de la mano de experiencias cotidianas. El marco general del proyecto serĆ” la ProcesiĆ³n de la Virgen de Punta Corral en la Quebrada de Humahuaca; subida tradicional que lleva mĆ”s de un siglo y medio de historia en la que la Banda de sikuris que integra Reinaldo participa aƱo tras aƱo.
