Synopsis
Beyond the Black Rainbow writer/director Panos Cosmatos serves as executive producer of Josh Johnson's documentary detailing the home video revolution. Interviews with a host of filmmakers, writers, and experts including Lloyd Kaufman, David Gregory, Charles Band, Drew McWeeny, Atom Egoyan, and more reveal how the emergence of VHS changed the way we watch movies around the world, and why some film preservationists insist that the format remains a viable means of preserving our cinematic history.
