Synopsis
Director/co-writer Alvaro Delgado Aparicio's coming-of-age drama stars Magaly Solier, Amiel Cayo, and Junior Bejar. A 14-year-old Ayacucho boy's dedication to following in his father's footsteps by becoming an altar boy and an expert religious retablo maker is shattered when he discovers his father's secret. The geography of his isolated Peruvian village and the chauvinistic culture that surrounds him forces him into silence and social withdrawal.
